Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Doug Martin (knee) did not participate in the team's practice on Wednesday, according to a report by Roy Cummings.
Doug Martin misses practice Wednesday, still expected to start Sunday
The Bucs’ go-to rusher left the team’s Week 1 loss to the Panthers with a knee injury and didn’t practice on Wednesday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Head coach Lovie Smith called the injury minor and it sounds like Martin will still play on Sunday against the St. Louis Rams.
Fantasy Impact: Martin left the team's Week 1 game against the Carolina Panthers after touching the ball 10 times and accumulating a grand total of just 16 yards of offense. There's no doubt that when he's healthy, Martin can be a fantasy force to be reckoned with.
Unfortunately, the knee injury can’t exactly be music to the ears of his fantasy owners who were hoping for a healthy 2014 season. Martin suffered a torn labrum six games into last season and was only averaging 3.6 yards per carry up until that point.
Fantasy owner anxieties aside, it does sound like the Bucs still expect Martin to play this week. If he doesn't, Bobby Rainey would start in his place. Martin's fantasy owners should wait to hear about his status on Thursday and Friday before pressing the panic button.
