Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffery both miss practice, fantasy owners should continue monitoring
The Bears’ top two receivers were both out of practice Wednesday after getting banged up in the season opener. We break down the fantasy implications.

Both players suffered minor injuries in Sunday's Week 1 loss to the Buffalo Bills. Marshall left the game with an ankle injury in the fourth quarter, but came back in and finished with eight catches for 71 yards and a touchdown. Jeffery is dealing with a hamstring injury that kept him out of nearly the entire second half. His day ended early with 71 yards on five catches.
Fantasy impact: Both players are considered day-to-day, and neither is expected to miss next week's game against the San Francisco 49ers. That said, fantasy owners will want to monitor their progress over the next few days. If they are able to return to practice on Thursday or Friday, pencil them into your lineups as you normally would. Marshall and Jeffery are relatively safe WR2 plays in a game that has shootout potential.
