Washington coach Jay Gruden said there is "little chance" tight end Jordan Reed suits up to play against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 2, according to a report by Britt McHenry. Reed only managed a single catch on his lone target of the game, a four-yard reception in the team's Week 1 loss to the Houston Texans.
Jordan Reed unlikely to play against Jags, fantasy owners need backup
Washington’s best tight end is dealing with a hamstring injury that will likely keep him out of action in Week 2. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Reed was one of the surprises of 2013, a season that saw him catch 45 passes for 499 yards and three touchdowns. It was a pretty healthy stat line for him considering he only appeared in nine games and started just four of them.
There's no question that Reed is the No. 1 option for Washington when he stays healthy, but that's proved to be a bit of a challenge during his short time in the NFL. Given that indications point to Reed missing Sunday's game, fantasy owners would be advised to consider either Logan Paulsen or Niles Paul as next in line to get targets at tight end.
Keep in mind that while Paulsen is the more experienced of the two, it was Paul who had the bigger impact last week, catching all four passes thrown his way for 86 yards.
