Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Cecil Shorts returned to practice Wednesday, getting in a limited session. It's the first time he's been able to practice during the regular season.
Cecil Shorts gets limited practice Wednesday, still not a reliable fantasy option
Shorts returned to practice on a limited basis Wednesday but is not a sure thing for Week 2. We break down the fantasy implications.

Shorts suffered a hamstring injury in preseason and was held out of a Week 1 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles last Sunday. He has dealt with hamstring ailments for most of his career, failing to play all 16 games in any of his first three seasons. In 2013, Shorts was active for 13 games, recording 66 catches for 777 yards and three touchdowns.
Fantasy impact: Shorts is still the nominal No. 1 receiver in Jacksonville, but after Allen Hurns exploded against the Eagles the team may be less inclined to rush Shorts back from such a nagging injury. He will need to get a full practice on Thursday or Friday before fantasy owners can consider starting him against Washington in Week 2. Shorts has WR3 upside when healthy, but Hurns and Marqise Lee are worth stashing on your bench.
