St. Louis Rams quarterback Shaun Hill did not practice on Wednesday due to a thigh injury. He suffered the injury in a Week 1 loss to the Minnesota Vikings and did not return. Austin Davis took over as the starter and may start again vs. the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 2.

Needless to say, the Rams aren't having a great season. Sam Bradford had season-ending knee surgery and they also lost defensive end Chris Long (ankle) for 8-10 weeks. The loss of Long will make their vaunted pass rush much weaker and they are much more likely to give up big point totals.
Hill’s injury isn’t expected to keep him out of the lineup much longer, but the Rams are going to take it easy on him. Coach Jeff Fisher maintained that the 34-year-old signal caller is still his starter and he hasn’t been benched.
Fantasy impact: This is a mess. There really is no Ram worth starting against the Bucs with their running back situation in flux, as well. Hill could potentially have a lot of attempts, but he won’t be worth starting unless it’s a desperation attempt in a deep, two-QB league.
