Miami Dolphins receiver Mike Wallace was limited in practice on Wednesday due to a hamstring injury. He suffered the injury on Sunday against the New England Patriots and is expected to play in Week 2 against the Buffalo Bills. Wallace has also dealt with multiple hamstring strains in his career, including in 2014 training camp.
Mike Wallace (hamstring) should still be ready for fantasy owners
Mike Wallace was limited in practice on Wednesday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Despite the injury, Wallace performed nicely in a big win, catching seven balls on 11 targets for 81 yards and a score. He made it abundantly clear that he's the go-to guy in Miami's offense with Brian Hartline not in the mix as much. Meanwhile, their rushing attack looked great and they were also able to protect quarterback Ryan Tannehill well in Week 1.
Fantasy impact: If the Dolphins can continue to protect their QB, Wallace could be looking at a big season. He wasn’t just running fly routes much like he did in Pittsburgh and it would appear the first season with Tannehill just laid a foundation for bigger things in 2014 and beyond. He has massive upside and could be in for a huge week against the Bills -- as long as he’s healthy.
