Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer is getting some rest in practice this week, being limited for the second day in a row Thursday. He's listed with a shoulder injury, but is fully expected to make the Week 2 start against the New York Giants Sunday.
Carson Palmer limited in practice Thursday, not a fantasy concern
The Cardinals are giving Carson Palmer some rest with another limited practice Thursday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Palmer got his 2014 season off to a rousing start on Monday night, leading the Cardinals to a comeback win over the San Diego Chargers. He completed 24 of 37 passes for 304 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions, while scrambling for 29 yards.
Fantasy impact: Palmer's shoulder should be a non-issue -- the Cards are simply managing his reps on a short week. The 34-year-old has found new life in Bruce Arians' offense and has a new favorite weapon in Michael Floyd. While his gunslinger mentality will lead to frustrating turnovers (he threw 22 interceptions last season and lost a fumble Monday), Palmer is a good bet to rack up yards and fantasy points most weeks. He is a solid QB2 in 12-team leagues and could put up QB1 numbers against a Giants defense that got shredded by Matthew Stafford.
