Niles Paul could have fantasy value with Jordan Reed ruled out
Jordan Reed has been ruled out for Week 2. We break down the fantasy implications.

Reed is expected to miss multiple weeks with his hamstring strain. He's a supremely talented tight end and was rolling last season before he suffered a season-ending concussion injury, posting a 100-yard game and three touchdowns in nine contests. With Reed out, Paul should see most of the snaps and could run plenty of routes. The fourth-year tight end caught four balls for 86 yards against the Texans in Week 1.
Quarterback Robert Griffin III was under pressure during the Week 1 loss and keeping him upright has to be a priority in Week 2. That means there could be plenty of hot reads for Paul as the short-yardage guy.
Fantasy impact: If you’re in a tight spot for tight end, Paul could be your man. He does only have one TD in his career and could catch another one on Sunday. To be clear, he’s not a top-20 option. Reed owners may want to stash him depending on league depth and other weaknesses on the team.
