I have no idea if this is true, but it seems like it would be, so I'm writing it here: The Arizona Cardinals and New York Giants play each other Sunday after both played Monday night. I figure it has to be the first time two teams face off after both playing on Monday, yeah? It never would have happened after a Monday with a single game, so it only could have in Week 2, and ... I mean, it's meaningless, but it seems neat.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 2: Cardinals vs. Giants
They both played Monday, and they play each other Sunday. That’s gotta be a first, right?

Anyway, the Giants host the Cardinals at 1 p.m. ET Sunday, with a handful of fantasy players worth noting:
Cardinals
Start in every league: Andre Ellington, Michael Floyd, Larry Fitzgerald, Defense/special teams
Start if you're desperate: Carson Palmer, Chandler Catanzaro
After several days of worrying about his status leading up to Week 1, Ellington played Monday night and looked decent. It looks like he'll keep playing through his injury, which makes him a low-end RB2. ... The Cardinals went Floyd-heavy in Week 1, with Fitzgerald barely an afterthought, but both are still basically must-starts. It'll take more than one week to be selling on Larry Fitzgerald. ... The Giants made the Lions' defense look good Monday; no telling how good they can make a more talented unit like the Cardinals' defense look.
Palmer’s stock is rising, with more weapons in Arizona and a poor Giants team. He’s firmly in QB2 territory. ... If the Arizona offense can continue to succeed, Catanzaro could be pretty productive.
Now that it looks like Ellington will stay on the field, Dwyer and Taylor are fantasy unplayable. ... Brown looked good in limited action Monday. He’ll need to show more, more often to be a fantasy option. ... Carlson and Housler are only extreme-depth plays.
Giants
Start in every league: Rashad Jennings
Start if you're desperate: Victor Cruz, Larry Donnell
Bench: Eli Manning, Andre Williams, Rueben Randle, Jerrel Jernigan, Josh Brown, Defense/special teams
In his first game as a Giant Monday, Jennings looked good, coming within six receiving yards of leading the team in both rushing and receiving. He’s an easy RB2 going forward.
It was a pretty disastrous Week 1 for Cruz, who caught only two of his six targets for only 24 yards. He’s still a reasonable flex play, but it’s tough to run him out there with any confidence. ... After a touchdown and 56 yards Monday night, Donnell now gets an Arizona team that typically struggles against the tight end. He could be interesting.
It’s hard to imagine a scenario in which a fantasy player would want to use Manning unless they were playing Failball. ... Williams became overrated in the preseason, but his Week 1 usage should show he isn’t worth much in fantasy. ... Randle and Jernigan (and rookie Odell Beckham Jr.) will be impossible to trust unless and until the New York offense improves. ... Brown might not get enough chances to kick much. ... Nope, not the Giants’ defense.
