Doug Martin injury update: Running back questionable; seems likely to start for fantasy owners
Doug Martin is listed as questionable on the official injury report. We break down the fantasy implications.

Practicing on consecutive days is a definite plus for Martin. Given that he’s the primary ball-carrier in Tampa Bay, it would be surprising to see him miss the game, even if a questionable designation is supposed to denote a 50 percent chance of actually playing. You can never really trust that statistic, though.
Fantasy Impact: Martin struggled against the Carolina Panthers in Week 1 and that's to be expected. They have one of the league's best defenses and the Buccaneers don't have much of a passing game. But Martin is a very talented running back and if he's healthy, he can pick up big yardage against any team. He may not be 100 percent heading into Week 2, but his injury is considered minor and fantasy owners should continue to start him with confidence, with the caveat that they should keep an eye out for news on Sunday morning.
