Chicago Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery returned to practice on Friday, but his availability for Sunday night's contest versus the San Francisco 49ers remains unknown.
Alshon Jeffery injury update: Fantasy owners advised to look elsewhere for WR production
The Chicago Bears will likely need someone else to step up in the receiving game, as Alshon Jeffery deals with a hamstring injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

Though it's encouraging that he could return at a limited basis, Jeffery did not verify if he would play. He remains as a true "questionable" on the team's injury report with a hamstring injury that he sustained versus the Buffalo Bills in Week 1. He did not return to action afterward.
Fantasy Spin: This is a nightmare scenario for Jeffery's fantasy owners, as the Bears drew the late-game slot on Sunday night. With no guarantee to play, and versus one of the better defenses in the NFL, there doesn't appear to be much to gain from penning Jeffery into fantasy lineups. Expect an increased emphasis from the Bears offense to get the ball to Martellus Bennett and Santonio Holmes, since Brandon Marshall's status is also in doubt. Jay Cutler's fantasy value takes a significant hit as well.
