Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer will officially sit against the New York Giants.
Carson Palmer officially out for fantasy owners
After testing his shoulder out, Carson Palmer will be deactivated Sunday afternoon against the Giants. We break down the fantasy impact.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport originally reported Palmer would start Sunday afternoon if his arm felt good during warmups. After testing his shoulder out, Rapoport immediately reported that Palmer could no longer go. Drew Stanton is now slated to make his first start (and see his first game action) since 2010
Fantasy Impact: Whoa. A glimpse of hope quickly turned into the complete opposite. Whatever the case, fantasy owners now have no choice but to make decisions based on Stanton’s impact.
During his last start, Stanton threw for 252 yards and one touchdown in a win over the Buccaneers. But that was nearly four years ago. Fortunately, Stanton will be throwing against a defense that allowed 346 yards through the air just last week. If anything, look for the running game to be involved a bit more than originally planned.
