Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Cecil Shorts will miss another game this Sunday afternoon. Jaguars beat writer Ryan O'Halloran reported that Shorts has officially been listed as inactive against Washington.
Cecil Shorts will miss another game for fantasy owners
Cecil Shorts will once again sit during Week 2. We break down the fantasy implications.

With his status in doubt throughout the week, it should come as no shock that Shorts is forced to sit this one out. Unfortunately, that's two games played by the Jags and two games missed by their star wideout. Allen Hurns is now scheduled to start in his place.
Fantasy Impact: Great news for Hurns owners, more awful news if you drafted Shorts. Injuries have always been the only thing keeping Shorts from breaking out, and it doesn't seem like that's coming to an end anytime soon. For the meantime, the Jaguars will continue to lean on Marqise Lee and Allen Hurns.
Hurns had a breakout performance last week but failed to receive even a target during the second half. Still, both he and Lee are worthy flex options against a hapless Washington secondary.
