New England Patriots receiver Aaron Dobson is active against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. Receiver Kenbrell Thompkins is inactive after playing in Week 1.
Aaron Dobson is active and could have a big fantasy day on Sunday
The Patriots activated Aaron Dobson against the Vikings. We break down the fantasy implications.

The Patriots flip-flopped the two last week, giving Dobson the day off as a healthy scratch and inserting Thompkins into the lineup. Thompkins only caught five of his 10 targets for 37 yards, so the move was expected all week.
Dobson has a lot of talent and it was just a matter of time before he was out there as one of quarterback Tom Brady’s receiving options. He is very capable at getting open down field and has been a solid red-zone option.
Fantasy impact: Yes, it’s tough to count on a guy who was a healthy scratch the week before, but Dobson could be looking at a big game. The Vikings were 31st in passing yards allowed last season and haven’t improved much, so Brady could have a big day, as well. Dobson is a risky WR3, but his upside makes him a nice stash just in case he does explode.
