Pressed into service when Washington starting quarterback Robert Griffin III left with an injury, Kirk Cousins had a productive day Sunday, throwing for 250 yards and two touchdowns in the team's 41-10 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Kirk Cousins throws for 2 TDs in an invisible fantasy performance
No one was using the Washington quarterback Sunday, but they might have to think about it going forward. We break down the fantasy implications.

Cousins replaced Griffin in the first quarter and threw for a 20-yard touchdown pass to fullback Darrel Young two plays later. He also hit tight end Niles Paul for a 2-yard score in the fourth quarter. The quarterback completed 22 of his 33 pass attempts for 250 yards, good for a passer rating of 109.4.
Fantasy impact: This ought to be fun -- and noisy -- considering all the talk already surrounding Griffin, Cousins and the Washington team. If Griffin’s injury really is a dislocated ankle, as was reported, then the job will be Cousins’ for at least a little while.
He shapes up to be a reasonable QB2, if one who could be interception-prone, considering his history. Washington takes on the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 3, and that could be a productive day for whatever quarterback the team runs out there.
