Arizona Cardinals running back Andre Ellington was supposed to be hobbled to start the season. He was questionable entering Week 1 and questionable again for Week 2, but the back has played in both games. Sunday, he went for 101 yards from scrimmage as the Cardinals beat the New York Giants 25-14.
Andre Ellington exceeds 100 yards in strong fantasy day
The Cardinals running back looked none the worse for wear from his foot injury Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Ellington ran the ball 15 times for 91 yards in the game and caught a pass for 10 more. He went for 80 yards from scrimmage in Week 1 despite a foot injury that had him as a question mark until the day of the game.
Fantasy impact: If Arizona is to be believed, Ellington can’t really hurt his foot any worse by playing on it, so the Cardinals appear content to run him out there. He’s averaging 17 touches a game through the first two games, which is lower than the team said it planned for him in the preseason, but still plenty to be productive.
The running back is a must-start almost every week, and slots as an easy RB2.
