A week after Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Michael Floyd was the favorite target and Larry Fitzgerald was the afterthought, the roles reversed Sunday. Floyd was barely involved in the Arizona offense in the team's 25-14 win over the New York Giants, while Fitzgerald got more looks, but still didn't do much to help his fantasy owners.
Larry Fitzgerald, Michael Floyd both disappoint fantasy owners
The two Arizona receivers had rough days Sunday, with Floyd’s being the worse of the two. We break down the fantasy implications.

Floyd was targeted six times Sunday, but caught only one pass for 19 yards. Fitzgerald, who had only one catch in Week 1, caught six passes Sunday on 10 targets, though those catches were good for only 51 yards.
Fantasy impact: With backup quarterback Drew Stanton starting for the Cardinals after Carson Palmer was ruled out with injury, the team went more conservative Sunday, with 29 pass attempts against 28 rushes. Stanton completed only 14 of his attempts, so there wasn't much to go around for receivers.
Things ought to be better for the team’s star receivers in the long run, when Palmer returns. That said, two receivers who both profiled as reasonable WR2s to start the season are now looking more like flex plays.
