A week after a disappointing NFL debut, Buffalo Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins had a huge game Sunday. Watkins went for more than 100 yards and a score in the Bills' 29-10 win over the Miami Dolphins.
Sammy Watkins has huge day for Bills, fantasy owners
The star rookie was quiet in Week 1, but his production exploded Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Watkins caught eight passes on 11 targets Sunday for 117 yards, including a 12-yard touchdown pass late in the third quarter. He was easily the Bills’ most dominant pass catcher in the game, as no one else had more than two receptions, four targets or 27 receiving yards.
Fantasy impact: It was a great sign for Watkins, who struggled in Week 1 as he dealt with an injury. There is no doubting Watkins’ talent, but there have been questions as to whether quarterback EJ Manuel can get him the ball often enough to capitalize on that talent. For Sunday at least, he could.
If Watkins and Manuel can maintain a good rapport, Watkins can be very fantasy relevant for the season. We’ll need to see it again to be sure, but for now, he’s on the border of flex consideration.
