Is Keenan Allen facing a sophomore slump? The second-year wideout caught five passes for 55 yards. Quarterback Philip Rivers targeted him six times as the San Diego Chargers defeated the Seattle Seahawks. Allen established himself as a threat during his rookie season. He ended the 2013 regular season with an impressive 71-1046-8 stat line. He's been off to a rough start with a total of ten catches for 92 yards. Granted, Allen has faced two tough defenses to start the season, and Rivers has punished opponents by feeding Antonio Gates while Allen sees heavy coverage.
Keenan Allen delivers another mediocre fantasy performance
Keenan Allen posted a pedestrian stat line against a tough Seattle defense. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: It's too soon to take Allen out of the WR2 discussion. He's been covered by some of the league's best defensive backs to start the season. Rivers still targets Allen, but he's understandably not forcing the ball to him against some of the league's tougher defenses. He'll be a solid WR2 over the next few weeks as the Chargers look forward to the Buffalo Bills and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
