Kyle Rudolph saw plenty of looks on Sunday but ended with lackluster production. Rudolph led the Minnesota Vikings with eight targets. He caught five passes for 53 yards. Derrelle Revis was draped all over Greg Jennings for most of the afternoon, and Rudolph saw more opportunity as a result. It didn't matter in the end. The Vikings saw just one score against the New England Patriots. Running back Matt Asiata offered the lone touchdown.
Kyle Rudolph fails to find end zone for fantasy owners
Kyle Rudolph didn’t score a touchdown on Sunday, which is pretty much what fantasy owners rely on him for.

Fantasy impact: Rudolph's day was reminiscent of what made him a risky play for most of the 2013 season. He's been a touchdown-dependent fantasy player for most of his career. However, it is promising that Rudolph led the team in targets on Sunday. There is some hope that offensive coordinator Norv Turner will boost Rudolph's production as we progress into the season, but he's still a low-end TE1 until then. The Vikings face the New Orleans Saints in Week 3.
