Tom Brady and the New England Patriots walked away with a 30-7 victory over the Minnesota Vikings. Brady completed 15 of 22 passes for 149 yards and one touchdown. There wasn't much that Brady needed to do in the air to secure a win. The Patriots saw 150 total rushing yards, picked off four of Matt Cassel's passes, and three for three in field goal attempts. Sunday marked Brady's fourth consecutive regular season game with just one passing touchdown dating back to Week 15 of the 2013 season.
Tom Brady falters in fantasy as Patriots defense dominates
Tom Brady was an underwhelming fantasy performer despite the lopsided New England Patriots victory.

Fantasy impact: It's understandable why Brady didn't have to light up the stat sheet on Sunday. Regardless, it was yet another week of underwhelming fantasy numbers for owners. While we don't expect New England to rely on the run game and defense every week, the reality is that Brady isn't going to churn out top-10 fantasy numbers on a consistent basis. The run heavy attack doesn't show any sign of slowing down against the Oakland Raiders in Week 3. Brady is on the low end of the QB1 discussion.
