Julian Edelman continued proving that he's the No. 1 receiver on the New England Patriots roster. Edelman caught six of seven targets for 81 yards and a touchdown. Tom Brady threw for just 149 yards, and Edelman accounted for over half of his production. The Patriots were in control of the game after the first quarter. Between the run game and defense, the Patriots didn't require much from their offense to secure the win, making Edelman's numbers even more impressive. Even with Aaron Dobson returning to the lineup, Edelman is proving to be the most established target. He's certainly gained the most trust from Brady.
Julian Edelman boosts fantasy rosters again in Week 2
Julian Edelman continues to take advantage of his opportunities as the Patriots deal with wide receiver injuries.

Fantasy impact: Edelman has done enough to prove he's a consistent factor on the Patriots offense. Rob Gronkowski has returned. Aaron Dobson is back on the field. Even the Patriots backfield seems to be stable and productive. Regardless, Edelman continues to produce at a high level. He's a low-end WR2 in standard leagues, but his reception totals appear to be trending toward the 105 he saw in 2013, making him all the more appealing in PPR leagues.
