Rob Gronkowski failed to find the end zone in Week 2, but the New England Patriots really didn't need him to. The Patriots defeated the Minnesota Vikings 30-7 on Sunday largely thanks to their defense and running game. Tom Brady threw for just 149 yards. 32 of those yards belonged to Gronkowski. He and Julian Edelman led the team in targets for the day.
Rob Gronkowski has a down week for fantasy owners
Rob Gronkowski finished with underwhelming numbers on Sunday. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: There isn't too much to be concerned about here. If the Patriots needed Gronkowski, they'd use him. Vikings quarterback Matt Cassel threw four interceptions. The Vikings were busy handing the ball to the Patriots, so it's understandable why Gronkowski saw less action than we'd like to see. He has a tasty match up against the Oakland Raiders in Week 3. The Raiders have been average in fantasy points allowed to tight ends, but the they have faced below average fantasy producers at the position. Gronk will continue as a high upside TE1 as usual.
