Jackson suffered a sprained AC joint in his shoulder in Sunday's win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. He is considered day-to-day, but avoided structural damage and was feeling better on Monday. Through two games, Jackson has nine receptions for 81 yards.
Fantasy impact: We’ll continue to monitor Jackson’s progress when Washington resumes practice on Wednesday, but so far all signs are looking good. There’s almost no way Jackson will want to miss a road trip against his former team, who unceremoniously dumped him in the offseason.
The next question for fantasy owners is the quarterback situation. Robert Griffin III is out indefinitely with a dislocated ankle, and while Kirk Cousins performed admirably against a bad Jaguars team, he committed seven turnovers in five games last season and needs to put on more consistent performances. Consider Jackson a WR3 for the time being.
