New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. (hamstring) has yet to return to practice and will not play against the Houston Texans in Week 3, according to Ralph Vacchiano.
Odell Beckham Jr. ruled out for Week 3, still on fantasy sidelines
The Giants’ 2014 first-round pick has yet to play in 2014 due to injury and won’t be back in time for Week 3. We break down the fantasy implications.

Author’s Note: A previous report earlier today stated Beckham Jr. was nearing a return, but it appears that’s no longer the case. The Giants’ first-round pick has yet to make his NFL debut.
Fantasy Impact: So far this season, the Giants’ offense has looked rather anemic. Quarterback Eli Manning just can’t seem to get on the same page as his receivers and admitted to his struggles in the preseason. It’s clear after two weeks of the regular season that those struggles have carried over.
Having Beckham in the lineup would be a welcome addition to say the least, but it doesn't look like that will happen this week. Victor Cruz will obviously be the top receiver on the team and the second in line is currently Rueben Randle. Randle has struggled, too, this season, so Beckham could presumably explode onto the scene and become one of the surprises of the season when he does return.
Fantasy owners in deeper leagues should keep Beckham on their sleeper radar but understand that he still appears to be week-to-week at this point, so there is no rush to add him right now.
