Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles did not attend practice on Wednesday, according to BJ Kissel of the team's website. His recovery from a high ankle sprain is officially underway, but it's unclear how much time he's set to miss. When you hear "high ankle sprain," it's usually something along the lines of four to six weeks.
Jamaal Charles not at practice; fantasy owners should start Knile Davis on Sunday
Jamaal Charles wasn’t at practice Wednesday and won’t be around for awhile. We break down the fantasy implications.

Obviously, Charles will be away from practice for some time with the injury. He's got a long injury history and fantasy football owners should understand the risks that come with drafting him. Those fantasy owners probably already have Knile Davis as a handcuff, and they should plan on starting him for the time being.
Fantasy Impact: It's no surprise to see Charles out of practice. He absolutely will not play in Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins. Fantasy owners should plan on starting Davis, though the Dolphins have proven decent at stopping the run thus far. They currently rank 13th in the league with 101 rushing yards allowed per game. Davis picked up 79 yards and a pair of touchdowns against the Denver Broncos in Week 2.
