Jordan Reed misses practice Wednesday, likely on fantasy sidelines for Week 3
Washington’s tight end did not practice on Wednesday, and head coach Jay Gruden says he’ll have to at some point in order to play in Week 3. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Reed managed only a single catch for a 4-yard gain before he pulled his hamstring in Week 1. In his short time in the NFL, he’s displayed a lot of athletic ability as a pass-catching tight end, but he’s also demonstrated that he’s quite injury prone.
With quarterback Robert Griffin III (dislocated ankle) out indefinitely, Washington's passing game is going to have a slightly different feel to it as Kirk Cousins starts for the immediate future.
Add that to the fact Niles Paul looked great in a blowout win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 2, catching eight passes for 99 yards and a touchdown, and Washington probably won't rush Reed's recovery.
Fantasy owners can consider Reed out for this week until he practices. Even then, he’s likely to be tagged as questionable.
