Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins (foot) won't play in the team's Week 3 game against the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday, according to Scott Smith. Seferian-Jenkins managed a single catch in his NFL debut, a 26-yard gain, before leaving the game with the injury.
Austin Seferian-Jenkins out for Week 3, Brandon Myers is the fantasy fill-in
The Buccaneers’ second-round pick has been out since suffering an injury in Week 1 and won’t play against the Falcons. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: As with any rookie, Seferian-Jenkins has a lot of upside. Unfortunately, not being able to play means coaches, fans and fantasy owners won't really get a chance to see what he's made of right now. It's too bad he won't be out there this week, since the Falcons tend to give up points through the air, and it would have been a great opportunity for Seferian-Jenkins to find a rhythm with quarterback Josh McCown.
Since Seferian-Jenkins can't go, veteran Brandon Myers will start in his place this week. Myers caught 47 passes for 522 yards and four touchdowns with the New York Giants last year.
Fantasy owners should note that Myers saw only a pair of targets last week against the St. Louis Rams, meaning neither he nor Seferian-Jenkins are viable options this week, even in deeper leagues.
