Buffalo Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins (ribs) practiced in full on Wednesday and is expected to start in the team's Week 3 matchup against the San Diego Chargers, according to Rotoworld. Watkins caught eight passes for 117 yards and his first career touchdown in last week's win over the Miami Dolphins.
Sammy Watkins practices in full Wednesday, poised for fantasy action in Week 3
The Bills’ explosive rookie came off of the field multiple times in Week 2, but he looks ready to go for Week 3. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: The Bills traded Stevie Johnson to the San Francisco 49ers in the offseason knowing that they wanted to draft Watkins in exchange. He's done nothing but impress since he started suiting up for the Bills in the preseason, and although he's battled his injured ribs throughout the regular season thus far, it looks like Watkins is starting to pay dividends.
Given that he'll definitely play this week, it looks as though he may be finally getting on the same page as quarterback E.J. Manuel. Manuel's preseason performance was less than stellar and consequently stood as the main knock on Watkins' fantasy value.
Fantasy owners can indeed start Watkins this week when he’ll try to follow up on a breakout performance.
