Jacksonville Jaguars running back Toby Gerhart was held out of practice Wednesday, although he isn't expected to miss Sunday's Week 3 game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Toby Gerhart misses practice Wednesday, has low fantasy value for Week 3
The Jaguars are giving Gerhart a day off to rest his ankle. We break down the fantasy implications.

Gerhart suffered an ankle injury in the season opener and has been gutting it out since. He was bottled up by the Washington defense in Week 2, rushing for just eight yards on seven carries with the Jaguars in a massive deficit. Gerhart has had a slow start to the season, totaling just 74 yards on 29 touches through two games.
Fantasy impact: The Jaguars signed Gerhart hoping to use him as an every-down back for their run-heavy offense, but those plans have been thwarted by a porous offensive line and ineffective play from Chad Henne. Gerhart doesn't look like the steady RB2 fantasy owners were hoping for when they drafted him. He will be a risky play until his ankle is 100 percent, and the Jaguars might need to turn to Blake Bortles sooner than later.
