Tennessee Titans running back Dexter McCluster (foot) was limited in practice on Wednesday and his status for the team's Week 3 game against the Cincinnati Bengals is uncertain, according to Paul Kuharsky. McCluster has 89 yards from scrimmage on 15 touches this season.
Dexter McCluster limited in practice, fantasy status in doubt
The Titans’ running back couldn’t fully participate in practice on Wednesday and his status for Week 3 is up in the air. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: McCluster has always been a versatile running back and special teams contributor going back to his days with the Kansas City Chiefs. He's quick and reliable, and he can catch passes out of the backfield. That said, he's never been a true go-to guy in the NFL.
If there's a chance he can't play on Sunday, rookie Bishop Sankey is likely to see an expanded role. Sankey has just eight rushing attempts on the season for 28 yards, but he was selected by the team in the second round of this past summer's draft, so he's got a lot of talent.
Fantasy owners looking at future potential in deeper leagues may want to stash Sankey for later. Starting him this week would be taking a chance, but it could pay dividends if McCluster doesn’t play.
