Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo was held out of practice Wednesday with a back issue. He's not expected to miss Sunday's game against the St. Louis Rams.
Tony Romo does not practice Wednesday, recurring back issue a fantasy concern
Tony Romo missed practice Wednesday and his troublesome back might be acting up again. We break down the fantasy implications.

The news is notable since Romo had surgery on his back in the offseason, missing training camp and preseason. Pro Football Talk heard “whispers” on Monday that Romo hurt his back again, but was unable to report anything concrete. The Cowboys have yet to make any public statements about his status.
Romo bounced back from a disastrous season opener to lead Dallas to a win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 2, throwing for 179 yards, a touchdown and no interceptions.
Fantasy impact: This could end up being nothing, but it’s worth filing away a mental note when you set your lineups this weekend. Romo has solid, if inconsistent, QB1 value and will be a strong play against the Rams if he’s healthy on Sunday. We will update his status when the Cowboys release their final injury report Friday.
