Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Cecil Shorts III (hamstring) returned to participate in practice on a limited basis Wednesday, according to John Oehser. Shorts has yet to play this season but looks to be on his way to recovery. Whether he plays in Week 3 against the Indianapolis Colts has yet to be determined.
Cecil Shorts limited in practice Wednesday, eyeing return to fantasy lineups
The Jags’ number one receiver returned to practice for the first time since suffering an injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Shorts is the hands down go-to guy in Jacksonville and the rest of the team's receivers are inexperienced and struggling. To make matters worse, Marqise Lee (hamstring) and Allen Hurns (ankle) are both injured, which means the Jaguars receiving corps is in complete disarray.
If Shorts can't play this Sunday and Lee and Hurns end up missing time, Allen Robinson and Mike Brown would start opposite each other. Considering that, fantasy owners can bet that Shorts will do everything he can to play and try to help his team avoid an 0-3 start.
Fantasy owners should monitor whether Shorts practices again on Thursday and Friday. If he does, it would be safe to say he’d be in the starting lineup against the Colts.
