New York Jets wide receiver Eric Decker did not need to undergo an MRI for his hamstring injury, according to Darryl Slater of NJ.com. Decker tweaked his hamstring in Sunday's loss to the Green Bay Packers, and did not practice on Wednesday because of it. But Decker said that he was unclear if the pain he felt on Wednesday was just postgame aches and how much of it could be attributed to the hamstring injury.
Eric Decker didn’t need MRI for hamstring injury; good sign for fantasy owners
New York Jets wide receiver Eric Decker didn’t need an MRI for his Week 2 hamstring injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

Whatever the case, not needing an MRI is a good sign. He’s not home free just yet and we’ll need to see if he does or does not practice in the coming days. The biggest reason to worry is that this is the same hamstring that bothered him during training camp and forced him out of much of it.
Fantasy Impact: Decker is one of the better fantasy receivers and owners should be worried that this is a recurring injury. Hamstring injuries are among the worst when it comes to potential for reinjury if a player comes back before it’s fully healed. But thus far, all signs are positive. There’s cause for concern, but fantasy owners should wait and see before panicking.
