New York Jets running back Chris Johnson was limited in practice on Thursday due to an ankle injury. He didn't appear injured in Week 2 and should be fine for Monday night's game against the Chicago Bears.
Chris Johnson’s ankle injury shouldn’t affect fantasy value
Johnson was limited in practice on Thursday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Johnson didn't play well against the Green Bay Packers in Week 2, rushing for just 21 yards on 12 carries. He did have a a productive Week 1 against the Raiders with 91 yards from scrimmage and a score, but the "against the Raiders" part of that sentence suggests the stat line comes with a grain of salt.
Meanwhile, Chris Ivory has been terrific with 145 yards on the ground thanks to an impressive 6.3 yards-per-carry average. The Jets are going to have a running-back-by-committee approach for much of the season, and it's possible Ivory is the leader of the two.
Fantasy impact: There is no need to worry about Johnson’s ankle injury just yet. He had a stem-cell treatment on his knee over the summer, but his ankles haven’t been a major problem in his career. Fantasy owners should view Ivory as the better option while Johnson is more of a flex play in a plus matchup.
