Oakland Raiders running back Maurice Jones-Drew returned to practice on Thursday, getting in a full session.
Maurice Jones-Drew returns to practice, has low fantasy value
Maurice Jones-Drew is back at practice after hand surgery forced him to miss Week 2. We break down the fantasy implications.

Jones-Drew missed practice Wednesday while still recovering from hand surgery, but is now expected to be ready for Sunday's Week 3 game against the New England Patriots. He missed last week's loss to the Houston Texans.
A free-agent signing from the Jacksonville Jaguars, Jones-Drew's Raiders career is off to a rocky start. He had just 11 rushing yards on nine carries in the season opener before suffering the hand injury. Jones-Drew is expected to play in a rotation with Darren McFadden.
Fantasy impact: Hopefully you weren't counting on Jones-Drew saving your fantasy lineup this year. He showed shockingly little burst in Week 1 and might already be near the end of the line at age 29. McFadden didn't look much better and we could end up seeing rookie Latavius Murray sooner than later. Oakland's offense should be avoided entirely in most fantasy leagues.
