Jacksonville Jaguars running back Toby Gerhart (ankle) practiced on Thursday on a limited basis and is expected to play against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 3. He suffered an ankle injury in Week 1 and was limited in practice leading up to Jacksonville's Week 2 loss to Washington.
Fantasy owners will be looking for Toby Gerhart (ankle) to get season going in Week 3
Toby Gerhart practiced on Thursday and should play against the Colts. We break down the fantasy implications.

Gerhart’s season has been a disaster so far. On his 25 carries, he’s collected just 50 rushing yards to go with four catches and 24 receiving yards. The Jaguars will certainly need him to be healthy, and to be the focal point of their offense with their top three receivers currently dealing with injuries.
Fantasy impact: The Colts defense has been destroyed and ranks 29th in fantasy points allowed to running backs so far this season. Gerhart isn’t getting competition for carries, so he should be a safe bet for at least 15 touches. It’s not going to be easy to start him considering how inept the Jaguars look on offense, but he should be viewed as a solid, safe RB2.
