Washington tight end Jordan Reed did not practice on Thursday due to his hamstring strain. He suffered the injury in Week 1 and did not play in Week 2. Reed is also not expected to play in Week 3 against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Niles Paul set for another solid fantasy game with Jordan Reed still out
Jordan Reed doesn’t sound like he’s playing in Week 3. We break down the fantasy implications.

With Reed out against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 2, Niles Paul went off with eight catches, 99 receiving yards and one score on his 11 targets. However, it should be noted that those numbers were inflated with star teammate DeSean Jackson suffering a shoulder injury in the first half.
Fantasy impact: Unless Reed's hamstring magically heals he is not going to play, and he could miss Week 4 as well. His fantasy owners will have to figure out if they want to stash him, especially since he could lose snaps to Paul. If you're not confident in your tight end, Paul is a solid low-end TE1 in what should be a high-scoring game against the Eagles on Sunday. What's more, he would have an even higher ceiling with DeSean Jackson out of the lineup.
