Atlanta Falcons receiver Roddy White (hamstring) is not expected to play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to CBS Sports. He had some hamstring problems heading into Week 2, but did not miss a snap against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Roddy White not expected to play for fantasy owners
Roddy White is not expected to play against the Buccaneers in Week 3. We break down the fantasy implications.

This comes as a bit of a surprise with the Falcons previously saying there was “no doubt” that White would be out there on the short week. White was quiet in Sunday’s loss to the Bengals with five catches for 42 yards and no scores. Although, the Bengals shut down the Falcons as a team and have one of the best defenses in the NFL.
If White is indeed out, it'll be the Julio Jones and Harry Douglas show for Matt Ryan. Douglas has stepped up in White's role before and should be looking at eight or more targets, especially given Atlanta's ineptitude in running the ball.
Fantasy impact: White’s owners will have to check back at around 7 p.m. to see if he’s active. If he’s not, Julio Jones is a top-three play this week while Douglas is a solid WR3. If White does play, he’ll be worth starting in most cases. Matt Ryan is also a high-end QB1 this week.
