Arizona Cardinals running back Andre Ellington was a limited participant in Thursday's practice due to a foot injury. He has battled a foot injury since the preseason and is expected to play in Week 3 against the San Francisco 49ers.
Fantasy owners should have more confidence in Andre Ellington this week
Andre Ellington was limited in practice on Thursday. We break down the fantasy implications.

He’s missed a ton of practice due to his foot injury, but he was able to play in the first two games of the season. Ellington hasn’t busted out just yet in his first year as a featured back, totaling 144 rushing yards and 37 receiving yards on a combined 34 touches. He is expected to play through some pain with his foot issue, but it’s believed that he won’t make it any worse.
Fantasy impact: The 49ers defense isn't quite as strong as it's been in recent years. Inside linebacker NaVorro Bowman (knee) won't be active and they have a lot of new guys in their secondary. Ellington is a strong RB2 at home and he should get close to 20 touches in a huge divisional matchup.
