Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Cecil Shorts III (hamstring) said potential fantasy owners "should start him in fantasy on Sunday" against the Indianapolis Colts. He is listed as probable and is expected to make his season debut.
Cecil Shorts says you should start him in fantasy for Week 3
Shorts said you should put him in your lineups for Week 3. Should you believe him?

Shorts has dealt with his hamstring strain since June and suffered an aggravation in the preseason. He also had a groin injury linger last season, so he hasn't been the most durable wideout in his time with the Jaguars. The team doesn't really have any reliable option with Allen Hurns (ankle) also not quite at 100 percent. Shorts could be in for a productive game, but there is a sizable risk of an in-game aggravation.
Fantasy impact: Despite Shorts trying to help you out with your roster decision, someone still has to get him the ball. The Jaguars can't protect quarterback Chad Henne and have allowed a league-high 10 sacks in two games. The Colts aren't exactly a top-notch defensive team, but there are just too many things that can go wrong for Shorts. He's a mediocre stash option, but he's more of a WR4 right now.
