Washington tight end Jordan Reed will not play against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 3. He suffered a hamstring strain in Week 1 and did not play in Week 2. Reed does not yet have a timetable to return and his injury is more of a week-to-week concern.
Jordan Reed won’t be active for fantasy in Week 3
Reed is still out with his hamstring issue. We break down the fantasy implications.

Reed hasn't practiced since suffering the injury and his absence allowed Niles Paul to turn in a big stat line of eight catches, 99 receiving yards and one score against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 2. He'll be in a similar role in what should be an up-tempo game against their division rival in Week 3.
Fantasy impact: Reed owners are in a tough spot here. He holds enough upside to be a top-five tight end, but he’s missed more games than he’s played in since November of last season. If there is a solid tight end on the wire, it might make sense to cut Reed loose. Meanwhile, Paul is a strong TE2 this week and could turn in another big game.
