Two weeks into the season and we're already left to choose from Peyton Manning, the second coming of Peyton Manning, a rookie, two journeymen, three veterans that might not be good, two legends that are still somewhere in the offseason, a giant beard, a hapless cog running a transcendent system, a backup that should have been starting all along, a broken rib, and someone named Austin Davis. Fortunately, a few of those could help you win your Week 3 matchup.
Fantasy football sleepers, week 3: Quarterbacks
With limited matchups to take advantage of, here are a few quarterbacks that could come up big for you in Week 3.

It's been argued that Cousins is a better fit for the Jay Gruden offense, and there's no better matchup to test that theory than against the Philadelphia Eagles. Through two weeks of football, the Eagles are tied for the most passing touchdowns allowed despite having benefited from Chad Henne and the rare Andrew Luck dud. Take into account that Cousins (250 yards, two touchdowns) didn't attempt a single pass after the 11:27 mark in the fourth quarter and QB1 numbers could be in store for Sunday.
Currently ahead of Colin Kaepernick, Tony Romo, and Ben Roethlisberger (just to name a few), Carr has been better than Raiders' final scores indicate. He also has the advantage of playing under center for a team that has attempted the least amount of carries (32) throughout the league. If Oakland has any intentions of matching New England point for point on Sunday, doing it through the air is their best bet. It wouldn't be shocking to see the rookie finish with high QB2 points.
If you're desperate, a masochist, or simply enjoy swinging for the fences, look no further than the ultimate risk/reward play. Admittedly, Cassel has been horrendous to start the season. But if you google the Saints defense, the first image that appears is a dumpster fire. And with the absence of Peterson, the Vikings are left no choice but to attack what is statistically the worst passing defense in the league. Just cross your fingers and look away.
