Despite a Week 1 loss, the San Diego Chargers have looked good through the first two weeks of the season. Meanwhile, the Buffalo Bills have been, relative to expectations, maybe the most successful team in all of football, sitting at 2-0. Sunday, the two teams meet up in Buffalo at 1 p.m. ET, and there will be a handful of fantasy names to keep an eye on:
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 3: Chargers vs. Bills
Two of the league’s pleasant surprises through two weeks face off Sunday.

Chargers
Start in every league: Philip Rivers, Keenan Allen, Antonio Gates, Nick Novak
Start if you're desperate: Donald Brown, Danny Woodhead
Bench: Malcom Floyd, Eddie Royal, Ladarius Green, Defense/special teams
You don't love Rivers, or any Charger, traveling all the way east for a 1 p.m. game, but after last week's performance against the Seattle Seahawks you're almost certainly using him. ... Allen has really disappointed through two games, but he's still San Diego's best pass-catching option. ... Best, that is, unless you prefer Gates, who won't be catching three touchdowns per game going forward but has firmly re-entrenched himself among the starting tight ends. ... Novak gets lot of kicking opportunities with San Diego.
With Ryan Mathews out for a while, Brown should see a sharp increase in carries, while Woodhead will get a big PPR boost. Neither is a sure-fire starter, but both could be interesting.
After a nice Week 1, Floyd was silent in Week 2, while Royal saw more use. Neither is useful in fantasy right now, but Floyd at least has a lot of potential. ... Green, the preseason darling, might not even be ownable right now. ... The Chargers’ defense has exceeded expectations through two weeks, but let’s see more before we invest.
Bills
Start in every league: C.J. Spiller, Fred Jackson, Dan Carpenter
Start if you're desperate: Sammy Watkins, Defense/special teams
Bench: EJ Manuel, Scott Chandler
With back-to-back 12-point games to start his fantasy season, Spiller has been good-not-great for his owners. Still, he’s healthy and needs to be started. ... Jackson has been less inspiring, but for now he’s still a mid-level flex play. ... Carpenter has been fantasy’s best kicker by a full five points so far.
Watkins looked great in Week 2, but don’t forget his rough Week 1 and his rough quarterback. He’s intriguing, but let’s see some more. ... The Bills’ defense looked great in Week 2, and was good a year ago. You don’t love the San Diego matchup, but in a home game against a West Coast team, it’s not awful.
Manuel doesn’t inspire much confidence. ... Chandler has two combined fantasy points in two games.
