Fantasy football projections, Week 3: Washington-Eagles featuring Kirk Cousins, DeSean Jackson and LeSean McCoy
We break down the Week 3 matchup between Washington and the Philadelphia Eagles.

Washington
With Robert Griffin (dislocated ankle) out indefinitely, in Washington will look to back up quarterback Kirk Cousins to carry the team's air attack. Cousins filled in nicely last week after Griffin's departure. He threw for 250 yards and a pair of touchdowns, sparking Washington to a 41-10 blowout win over the Jacksonville Jaguars last week. Although he doesn't scramble as much as RG3, Cousins does just fine passing from the pocket and could be in line for a nice fantasy day against an Eagles defense that isn't known for having a strong secondary unit.
Cousins will have extra incentive to do well on Sunday, given that star wide receiver DeSean Jackson (shoulder) said this week he plans to play through injury and suit up against his ex-teammates for the first time since being traded in the offseason. That said, fantasy owners should exercise caution as he's currently listed as questionable for the contest and only managed a single catch last week before making his exit from the game with the injury. If Jackson sits the game out, running back Alfred Morris will be in line for lots of touches and possible touchdowns in Week 3.
Philadelphia Eagles
The Philadelphia Eagles mounted an incredible comeback against the Indianapolis Colts last week to steal a victory on the road. Much of the credit for the comeback should go to the running back tandem of LeSean McCoy and Darren Sproles. Although Sproles was the star of the night catching 7 passes for 152 yards in the game, McCoy held his own on the ground, rushing for 79 yards and a touchdown in the game. Both running backs will be used a lot this Week, with McCoy more likely to continue putting up the bulk of fantasy points between the two.
When quarterback Nick Foles does go to the air with the ball, Jeremy Maclin will likely be on the receiving end of his passes. Maclin only managed 45 receiving yards against the Colts last week but did find the end zone for the second week in a row. Nobody on the Eagles' roster is going to challenge him for the role of number one receiver and Washington's secondary unit isn't exactly top notch, which means Maclin could very well score for the third week in a row.
