Fantasy football projections, Week 3: Colts-Jaguars featuring Andrew Luck, Ahmad Bradshaw and Cecil Shorts
We break down the Week 3 matchup between the Indianapolis Colts and the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Indianapolis Colts
The Indianapolis Colts blew a big lead to the Philadelphia Eagles last week, making the team's Week 3 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars all the more significant. The good news is quarterback Andrew Luck still put up some solid fantasy stats in the loss. His yardage total settled in at 172, but he did toss three touchdowns in the process. In Week 3, he'll face a Jaguars defense that just gave up 41 points to Washington last week. Luck will look to get T.Y. Hilton and Reggie Wayne their first touchdowns of the season this week, and that could very well happen against Jacksonville, especially if Hakeem Nicks (illness) doesn't play.
When Luck does look to his backfield, it will likely be Ahmad Bradshaw and not Trent Richardson who puts up the fantasy numbers this week. That's been the trend so far this season, with Bradshaw notching a pair of touchdowns last week. Neither rusher is lighting up the NFL on the ground, but in Bradshaw's case, he's been able to make a difference catching passes on quick screens and short passes down the middle. Richardson's owners may want to start looking elsewhere for a running back if Bradshaw proves to be more productive once again in Week 3.
Jacksonville Jaguars
Wide receiver Cecil Shorts III (hamstring) has yet to play this season, but he's listed as probable this week and is expected to start. That's good news considering Allen Hurns, Marqise Lee and Allen Robinson have been far from impressive, to the point in fact that the coaching staff has publicly stated so at practices. Shorts is without a doubt the only player on the Jaguars that can be consistently counted on to help move the chains and if the Colts build up a big lead early, Shorts will be a busy man on Sunday. Though Hurns had a big Week 1, there's little to know chance he steals any targets from Shorts even though the two will likely start opposite each other.
Although coach Gus Bradley has been openly critical of his offense, he has confirmed the team will stick with Chad Henne at quarterback this week. Henne and his teammates got smoked in Washington last week and as a result, the veteran passer could only muster 193 yards and a touchdown in the game to go with an interception. Surely Washington sensed they could sit back and wait for long bombs knowing they had a big lead. That might lead fantasy owners to believe Henne should be on the bench. However, he might be a good play in deep leagues due to the fact the Colts have given up an average of 300 passing yards and two touchdowns to quarterbacks this season.
