Fantasy football projections, Week 3: Bears vs. Jets featuring Jay Cutler, Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffery and Eric Decker
We break down the Week 3 matchup between the Chicago Bears and New York Jets.

Chicago Bears
Quarterback Jay Cutler is third in the league in pass attempts and seems determined to finally achieve and maintain QB1 status. Although Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery are both listed as questionable, they are expected to play, giving Cutler plenty of options. Running back Matt Forte's slow start may not seem like it justifies his mid first-round ADP at first glance, but he's managed to rack up 205 total yards in two games which includes 13 catches. The touchdowns haven't been there yet but he's still managed to stay productive without them.
Wide receivers Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery are expected to be available and Marshall has caught four touchdowns in the first two games. He remains an elite WR1. Jeffery has gotten off to a slow start but is a good bet to pick it up against New York's soft secondary. Tight end Martellus Bennett is quietly averaging 7.5 catches, 53.5 yards and one touchdown per game. He makes a fine mid-range TE1.
New York Jets
The Jets are predictably lacking any elite fantasy difference-makers on offense. Quarterback Geno Smith appears to be making strides from his rough rookie campaign but still has a ways to go. New York's backfield has been a pretty even timeshare between Chris Johnson and Chris Ivory thus far with Ivory being more productive. Owners would be wise not to expect any more than 15 carries for either back. Wide receiver Eric Decker is the only fantasy-relevant receiver and makes for a risky WR3 play on Monday night, dealing with a hamstring issue that has him labeled as questionable.
