Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker is coming off a monster week that saw him tie his career high with 10 catches and set a new high in yards with 142. He also secured a touchdown catch for the second straight week. Quarterback Jake Locker struggled with consistency, and Walker was the only Titans receiver who could overcome it. His 61-yard touchdown scamper was one for the highlight reel.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 3: Delanie Walker is a legitimate starting option
Delanie Walker stuffed the stat sheet last week. Can he keep it up in Week 3?

Fantasy Impact: While some regression to the mean is inevitable, Walker has firmly put himself in the low-end TE1 conversation. He only had three catches for 37 yards in Week 1 but he still managed to turn one of those catches into a touchdown. Walker has the athletic ability to put up these kind of numbers in any given week, but Locker’s inconsistent play is Walker’s biggest issue. It was encouraging to see Walker finish strong when Locker was erratic. Walker makes for a fine back-up option, and owners could do much worse for a starter. He’s a low-end TE1.
