The Houston Texans do not expect to have running back Arian Foster active on Sunday, according to Ian Rapoport. Foster suffered a hamstring injury after finishing Week 2 with 28 carries for 138 yards. There was no word of an injury during Sunday's game, but he was limited in practice all week. His primary backup is rookie Alfred Blue, with Ronnie Brown also likely to get some carries.
Arian Foster is a long-shot for fantasy owners in Week 3
Houston Texans running back Arian Foster is reportedly doubtful for Sunday’s game against the New York Giants. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Foster is immensely talented, but hamstring injuries are not a new thing for him. Getting in limited work bodes well for this being a shorter term injury, but that will not help Foster owners in Week 3. The Texans are an early game, so you can afford to wait and see if he is officially inactive. Alfred Blue has a solid matchup against an awful New York Giants team. If you have a decent option to release, Blue would be a solid handcuff option. Ronnie Brown is not a fantasy option at this point.
