New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady still hasn't gotten going on the young season. Though the team is 2-1 after its 16-9 win over the Oakland Raiders Sunday, Brady has yet to have a big game.
Tom Brady’s numbers continue to disappoint Patriots, fantasy owners
It’s been a really slow start to the season for the New England quarterback. We break down the fantasy implications.

Sunday was Brady’s best fantasy day on the year, with 234 yards on 24-of-37 passing and one touchdown pass. That was good for 13 fantasy points after back-to-back nine-point outings to start the season.
Fantasy impact: The puts Brady at 31 fantasy points on the season so far, also known as one fewer point than Matt Ryan put up in Week 1 alone. A popular bounce-back candidate to enter the season, anyone who burned an early- to mid-round pick on Brady is really disappointed through three weeks.
Brady's touchdown came on a connection with tight end Rob Gronkowski, and the two nearly connected on a second score later in the game. Brady still has weapons -- Gronkowski, Julian Edelman, Shane Vereen, etc. -- and it's hard to imagine the once-great quarterback has just lost it, but at this point he needs to show something to be considered any kind of must-start going forward.
